Brief Description

WestWood Hard Grain is a very tough and abrasion-resistant topping. With its sharp edges, it offers better grip on slopes, e.g. straight and spiral ramps in multi-storey car parks. Its special properties, such as its polished stone value or Mohs hardness, make the product an alternative topping within the WestWood Surface Protection System (OS 10) for parking decks and multi-storey car parks.

Application

Waterproofing of concrete structural components with separating cracks and regular mechanical stress. Hard Grain is a system component of the WestWood OS 10 Surface Protection System and is used as a topping for Wecryl 333 Self-levelling Mortar. WestWood Hard Grain can also be used outside the system as a topping for Self-levelling Mortars Wecryl 337 and Wecryl 527. This system build-up is used when installing a surface protection system without waterproofing.
