Brief Description

Wecryl 171 is a low-viscosity primer for mineral substrates before WestWood waterproofing or surfacing products are applied. Good penetrating power makes this product a superior deep-acting primer that also closes pores and stabilises the substrate.

Material

2-component, fast-curing, low-viscosity, PMMA-based primer (PMMA = polymethyl methacrylate)

Application

Wecryl 171 is used for pre-treating (as primer and barrier) slightly absorbent mineral substrates (concrete, screed etc.) in preparation for the subsequent application of WestWood waterproofing / surfacing products. It offers improved effectiveness in closing pores and pinholes.
